Welcome to Blogtides.com!

This is a special kind of blog in that it is powered by WordPress MU (Multi User) which allows people to create user ids and then create their own free blogs.

By Using the WordPress platform, users are able to set up fantastic looking blogs by using the great selection of WordPress themes that are available, as well as a full set of specialized plugins for further personalizing your blog.

Here, we allow you do do pretty much whatever you want with your blog as long as you don’t use it for anything you wouldn’t want your grandmother to see, which includes racial or religious hate, p0rnography, sp6m, rip offs and con tricks, terrorism, or anything else that could be construed to be anti-social and downright not very nice!

How Do I Set Up My Free Blog?

This is as easy as anything. First you’ll need a user name, which you can create yourself simply by clicking the “Create a New Blog” button on the main page for the first time. You’ll be asked to type in your user name, so make it one that you can easily remember and please make it a real word or name.

Note: If admin sees usernames created with a nonsensical jumble of letters and/or numbers, it will be deleted as sp6m along with any blogs that user sets up.

You’ll also be asked to provide a valid email address, because this is where your login password will be sent, so make sure you have access to it and your email filters won’t blog anything coming from blogtides.com.

Your first blog will also be created with your user name as its URL, so if you don’t want that, simply create a user name only by checking the appropriate button.

Once you get your password, you can log in. Then you can open the BlogTides homepage and click the “Create a New Blog” button to create your new blog. You’ll be asked for a URL you’d like to use. Type in a name that is relevant to the blog you are setting up, so if you want a blog about making money, call it “makemoney”, or something similar if that name has already been taken by someone else. You can also give the blog a title, so in this example it would be “Make Money”. Your finished URL will look like this:

If you want to create another blog, no problem. Make sure you’re logged in and repeat the process! Simple.
